Hewlett Packard 4500/4550 Fuser Reset Instructions

1. Turn Power "off" to the printer.
2. Hold down the "JOB CANCEL" and "SELECT" keys while turning the printer back on. Wait for the display to be blank and the three led's to illuminate.
3. Press the right side of the "MENU +" key, and press the "SELECT" key.
4. "SERVICE MODE" will briefly appear on the display followed by two rows of asterisks. The printer will go through normal start-up and display "SERVICE MODE" again.
5. Press the "ITEM" key until "FUSER MESSAGE COUNT" appears.
6. Press the "VALUE +/-" key to change the count values to zero.
7. Press the "SELECT" key to save the data.
8. Press the "GO" key to return to ready state.
